Then Tunnel, the River North lounge hidden above Old Crow Smokehouse, its nondescript entrance on Kinzie Street opening to a covered staircase and a world of color-changing lights and bass. The function is in full swing. Friends move through the crowd, the video wall flickers behind them, and the night unfolds the way these nights do — in flashes, in moments caught between songs.
